Trial terms

Plain terms for the free, invite-only Listwax test. They are written by the person running the test, not by a lawyer, and they will be replaced before anything paid. What Listwax keeps, and for how long says what happens to your data.

What this is

  • A free test, by invitation only. It is a tool that helps you list used records faster. It is not a service with a promise of any kind.
  • It may be slow, change, or be switched off at any time, with or without notice.
  • Your allowance is a number of credits. When they are used up, ask the host if you want more.

What it does and does not do

  • It reads your photos, suggests Discogs releases, and saves a draft listing. It does not publish anything for you.
  • You enter the grades. You choose the release, the price and the description. You check every draft before you post it. The suggestions can be wrong, and nobody here is responsible for a listing you post.
  • It does not grade records, and it says nothing about how a record plays.

What we ask of you

  • Keep your login to yourself and do not share your invite code.
  • Upload only photos of records you own or are allowed to list. No photos of people.
  • Do not try to break the app or reach other people's records.
  • Tell us what is wrong. Use "Send feedback" or "Something wrong with this match?"; that is the point of the test.

Your photos and data

  • Your photos are kept only if you tick the box to keep them. Otherwise they are deleted 30 days after the listing is posted.
  • You can delete everything of yours from the Account page whenever you like.
  • Discogs information shown in the app comes from Discogs and follows Discogs' own rules, including how long prices may be kept.

Stopping

  • You can stop at any time: delete your data and stop using the app, or ask the host to close your account.
  • The host can stop your access at any time too, for example if the test ends or the terms are broken.
